How Much Does Cosmetic Dentistry Cost?

If you’re looking to fix a broken tooth or teeth, replace a missing or cracked tooth, finally get that root canal or you simply want to figure out why your mouth hurts so bad – you’re going to need a dentist or oral surgeon to help you figure it out.

We’ve broken down the most common dental procedures below by cost to help you figure out exactly how much you should expect to pay.

Dental Exam

Many dentists or dental chains will offer these for free as a lead generation tool.

Cost Range: Free to $150

Teeth Cleaning

Recommended every six months, a deep cleaning of your teeth can help you identify if you’re brushing correctly, to more extensive periodontal therapy or work required for more serious oral health conditions.

Cost Range: $75 to $1,000

Teeth Fillings

Cavities happen, getting that tooth filled can stop pain and can help prevent more serious oral health issues.

Cost Range: $125 to $275

Dental Sealants

A thin sealant applied by a dentist on adults or children designed to help prevent tooth decay.

Cost Range: $20 to $40 per tooth

Root Canal

When tooth decay reaches the tooth’s pulp, it’s time for a root canal.

Cost Range: $600 to $1,000

Tooth Extraction

Damaged or rotten teeth need to be removed. This is often done in coordination with dental implants, but not always.

Cost Range: $125 to $275

Mouth Guards

Dental Implants

Dental Veneers

Dental Crowns

Dental Bonding

Teeth Whitening

Gingivectomy

Gum Countouring

Gum Grafting
