Are you a smile hider?

What’s a smile hider you ask? It’s someone who is so ashamed of their teeth that she contorts her mouth when she smiles and talks to others so as not to reveal her teeth.

If you are a smile hider, All-on-4 dental implants may be a wise investment.

They ain’t cheap though. The typically cost for All-on-4 is between $12,000 – $25,000 per arch. It’s not uncommon for the entire treatment (a full set of implants) to run into the $30,000 – $50,000 range.

So is it worth it?

94% Say All-on-4 Dental Implants are Worth the Cost

Well, according to the reviews here, 94% of those that got All-on-4 dental implants said it was definitely worth the cost. They’re happy they spent the money to fix their smile.

The reasons those who have gotten this procedure feel it’s worth it fall into a few main categories.

The Emotional Affects of Having Bad Teeth

A big one was emotional. Many people with bad teeth get so embarrassed by their teeth that they train themselves to smile and talk without showing their teeth. This gets so bad that some people describe themselves as being paralyzed by humiliation when they have to talk to others.

In extreme cases this has led to social anxiety that affects all their interactions with everyone they meet. All because they were too afraid of what people would think of them if they showed their “scary looking” teeth.

Eventually for many, the shame, embarrassment and awkwardness of having a mouth full of broken, diseased and/or yellow teeth finally catches up with them. They know they can’t go on living like this and have to make a change.

For people who get to this point, they experience a huge weight being lifted off their shoulders from no longer being so self conscious all the time. And with that comes a huge boost in self esteem and self confidence which makes the cost of All-on-4 totally worth it.

Oral Health Issues All-on-4 Dental Implants Can Help Fix

Another reason people think All-on-4 is worth the cost are those who have serious health problems in the mouth. Sometimes it’s because for many years they did a horrible job taking care of their teeth. Others suffer some sort of oral injury or have some type of dental disease that leaves their teeth and gums in bad shape.

The health issues can leave them with a mouth full of yellow teeth. Or a number of missing, cracked or chipped teeth.

It’s painful for many people like this to eat. Frequently they also keep spending money on crowns or other temporary, short term fixes.

Eventually they realize that it’s cheaper in the long run to get a more permanent fix like the one All-on-4 dental implants provide. In these situations, the patients feel All-on-4 implants are totally worth the cost for the relief it brings them.

All-on-4 Dental Implants Are Not Right For Everyone

Not everyone thinks All-on-4 implants are worth the cost however. This mostly stems from those who have some sort of complication from the procedure. Some report pain and swelling after the procedure that lasts much longer than expected. One person reported their speech was affected. When unexpected complications like this arise, you could certainly understand why they feel the procedure is not worth the cost.

The Bottom Line

Overall though, the majority of people seem to feel that All-on-4 dental implants are worth it. Even with the high cost.

Being able to go out and eat, talk and laugh with confidence is hard to put a price tag on.

That cost is rediculous. I have an excellent dentist who will do a top performance for under $12,000.
Anyonw who talks $25,000 to $50,000 is simply trying to rip you off royally. In fact, I can give you four right here in Fort Worth who chargw no more tha $16,000. Anything over $20,000 anywhere is a bad deal.
